RPK, The Bravest Man In Malaysia At Tis Moment!

To those who have never heard of RPK, they stand for Raja Petra Kamaruddin. Who is RPK? He is the cousin of the current Sultan Of Selangor. In short his father & the current Sultan Of Selangor's father were brothers.
RPK is the owner of the hot political website 'www.malaysia-today.net'. His articles are a joy to read and his 'allegations' are at times substantiated with scanned documents as proof.
Even the leaders of the various Opposition parties have not dared to write articles and allegations as hot as RPK.
As a reader of his articles which appear under the "The Corridors Of Power" & "No Holds Barred" columns have & continue to be a joy to read.
He seems to be an extremely intelligent being, having an extremely good command of the Queen's English, very witty at times & knows his facts well. He has a gift with the pen & paper!
Compared to his writings, those churned out by the Leader Of the Opposition seem so mild in comparison. Why is he so daring & brave, knowing that what he has written would only invite the necessary ripostes from the Establishment?
Today, RPK can be considered at the Bravest Man In Malaysia.

My First Post

I had always admired bloggers who spent so much effort & time with their blogs.

I wondered where they found time & what was the motivation for their 'ramblings' in the cyber world. Why this 'indulgence' that brings no remuneration?

My sister-in-law who resides in the state of Johor is an extremely prolific blogger I have noticed. Not only does she makes several postings on her blog, but, apparently, she has several blogs.

How she manages to find time is beyond my comprehension, esp. when she is holding a 9 to 5 job, a mother to 2 little kids & a wife?! For that, I am going to bow to her now & salute her up to the heavens high.

I had always wanted to get involved in blogging but had never even went beyong step one of opening a blogger's account, which is as simple as eating fried groundnuts!

But I have finally managed to do it & am in fact writing my first post now. Will I give up after a while? Maybe & maybe not.

Is it true that one can get paid for these cyber ramblings that one spews non-stop in the cyber world? Perhaps, this is reason why many housewives are picking up their cyber writing tools & spending endless hours in front of their PCs.

For me, this space here would be mainly for me to rave & rant and perhaps, a kind of my 'private diary' but one which is open to the general public & to all & sundry. I would definitely stay away from controversial political stuff as I don't desire to join the queue that our Jeff Ooi had been 'compelled' to take. Neither would I like to be bundled off to somewhere unknown to be religiously questioned by the higher ups. Thus, I would try be as politically correct as possible here, though in private, I might espouse views very different from the mainstream.

Would you be sending me flowers & wishing me luck on this 'blogging project' of mine & see how much I can last?!
